What does Knox Central need to do to improve in 2015? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Here's the 2015 schedule as I've been told:

 

 

August-21 Bryan Station @ Madison Central Roy Kidd Bowl

 

August-28 Louisville Central @ Corbin Pigskin Classic

 

September-5 Southwestern Pulaski @ Clay County Appalachian Bowl

 

September-11 Harlan County (away)

 

September-18 Henry Clay (home)

 

September-25 Russell County (away)

 

October-2 Clay County (home)

 

October-9 Wayne County (away)

 

October-16 open

 

October-23 Rockcastle County (home)

 

October-30 Corbin (away)

Russell, Clay, Wayne, and Rockcastle are the district games.

Knox Central is going to have a very challenging schedule, hopefully it helps them come playoff time.

 

It's great to see them back in the Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic, playing against Louisville Central, who will be making a return trip to Corbin after ending the Redhounds' season in heartbreaking fashion last year.

It is what it is. Games are getting really hard to come by. My understanding is we were turned down by most of the area 5A schools. What's worse is that for several years now, we've only played 3 home games. Hardly worth the field maintenance.

South Laurel dropped Corbin and North Laurel didn't want to play as well as both wanted to soften their non-district schedule. I guess they didn't want to play KC either.

I don't think they will beat Wayne Co.

I talked to a north laurel coach today and ask him about the schedule, he said north didn't ever ask or get asked to play Knox and that both teams already had conflicting games that would have kept them from playing anyway. Just because schools are close don't mean they are able to play and most of the time no one knows what goes on, just some like to speculate what they think happens. I doubt north is scared of Knox, they only lost to them by a few points and could have easily won.
