Who has the highest batting average so far?

I know what you are saying Lex. I'm not trying to compare....that's like comparing apples and oranges. The two areas are very different when it comes to baseball. Now there are some programs who could compete, but not as an area because of numbers.

I was just trying to dis-prove Buckmasters point. Do you agree with him that some schools have 7 quality starters. THat is just not true. Hell, big league teams don't have 7 quality pitchers these days. And i wasn't knocking Lex Chris either. I just picked the first Lex team that came to mind looking at the schedule.

Mtn. you are taking this too serious. I will bet you that if the 15th had Tates Creek or any of the larger schools top 7, they would think they had 7 quality pitchers. Our Schools cant even find 7 throwers and if you played ball in the 15th you would know that. I didnt say they had 7 who could approach 90, I said I would bet they got several kids who could throw in the low 80's. I did not say Aces. I bold faced these to help you out and understand what I am saying. The 15th region has FIVE pitchers who can hit that number. Sit back and absorb what I am saying and read your own posts. This is not personal so quit acting like it is. If you disproved me it wouldnt be the first time it has happened, no cherry here.

Hey...I don't like to argue Buck. I guess we really disagree on the definition of "quality." What you think is quality pitching and what i think is quality pitching is obviously different. I've been around high school baseball closely since 1995. I played in 2 sectional tournaments and coached in 3 more. I've seen games at Applebee's and lived in Lexington for 2 years and watched games. I'm here to tell the WORLD that no school in Lexington has quality pitching, IMO!! Like i said, that's different than what you think.

Correct that last statement....I meant that no team in Lexington has 7 "quality" pitchers.....leaving that 7 out really changes the meaning of that statement!!! My bad....

Mtn I guess we have a different definition but lets leave it at that. Mtn I think I have met you before. Good luck and keep an eye on the Lex. programs for us. We may need a scouting report sometime. Let's Play Ball.

Come on now guys, can't we all just get along. Let's everyone just sit back for a moment, sip on a Red Bull or two, and just chill out.

Sounds good Buck.....

You can always count on Firebird for a good Red Bull joke....????? I guess...

I would like to have the first 3 at any Lexington public school. I believe my wife could win the 14th,15th or 16th with them. By the way ,my wife is an excellent coach. She just doesn't understand baseball. HA HA

Barber from ashland has been hitting the ball real well.

Gavin Wells from Lesdlie County has a 515 avg. through 12 games. Leads team.
