I'd be surprised if it wasn't. I'm sure some folks will say he hasn't played enough games to qualify but the Thunder are 14-8 with him playing and 10-16 without him.

Just looked. Outside of AD's record PER number, Durant has the highest in the league. All-Star.

He also has only played in 45% of the games. And the 14-8 record, that winning percentage would be good for 7th place in the West.

 

If the fans voted him in I have no problem. Durant is one of my favorite players. But I'm sorry I'm not buying he deserves the All Star game this year, this is more of a career achivement election.

I'm not debating that. I'm debating if his full body of work this year deserves an all star bid. I just struggle to agree it to be the case when you only play 45% of the games.

Some are exceptions to the rule. KD is one IMO.
