On Jan. 17, Beechwood High School graduate Tyler Fangman cemented his name in the college record books, becoming the all-time leading scorer in Indiana University East men’s basketball history. The senior guard from Cold Spring is on pace to earn NAIA Division II All-American honors for the second straight season.

 

With 1,721 career points and counting, Fangman surpassed current Red Wolves assistant coach Tyler Rigby. His ability to score from anywhere on the court is something that is nearly impossible to coach and even harder to defend.

Just asked someone who would know, he said Tyler was late bloomer. He didn't score 1000.
