The KHSAA website has the wrong score posted. The Owls played hard, after a slow start and some questionable calls by the plate umpire. I don't like to bash umpires, but there is one in particular that always "haunts" the Owls.

No, Smith played 1st this game. He is usually the Shortstop, and he also pitches. Jason Bowling is the catcher. He has three HR's so far this season.

Who pitched for Owsley?

Matt Hoskins started out the game and Jeremy Pierson came in for about an inning and gave up like 4 or 5 walks and then Jordan Hardy came in the last inning and pitched really good. Not a good umpired game though.
