JamesWilliamscat
Denver goes to the Super Bowl last year, then the final 4 in the AFC this season, and yet decides to part ways with head coach John Fox. The Bengals stay with the same ole, same ole, with no playoff wins in over 24 years. That's why this organization will never ever win in the playoffs, it's clear they don't care. :ohbrother:
MJAlltheWay24
Big difference between the two situations because Fox butted heads with his bosses, Mike Brown doesn't.
Bengal Maniac
Another difference is that expectations are different or appear to be. If they weren't, Lewis would be gone. Making the playoffs seems to be the expectation in Cincy. Anything else appears to be icing on the cake. Not saying that is the way to run it or I like it, but it is the way Mike Brown appears to. The Bengals are not bad at all, just not elite, and probably won't be until Brown expects more. Just the way it is.
