Bengals get A.J. Green back on the practice field

Featured Replies

The Bengals got some good news at practice Thursday morning.

According to Geoff Hobson of the team’s official website, wide receiver A.J. Green was back on the practice field.

Green was out yesterday because of the concussion he suffered in last week’s game against the Steelers, so he’s apparently been cleared.

That’s a huge boost for them in advance of Sunday’s game against the Colts, as they try to erase their stigma of a team that wilts in January.

I would say one might consider that good news.

The Kitten is back!

He still has not cleared the concussion protocol. He basically only stretched and lined up during offensive install. He will see a neurologist tomorrow to hopefully be cleared for a full practice. However then he has to see an independent neurologist on Saturday to be taken off the concussion protocol. So today was a good sign, however I am not getting my hopes up until he is definitely able to play. If he plays the Bengals will win.

Green didn't practice today and is now questionable and still on the concussion protocol. That's why until he is officially cleared to play I am not going to get my hopes up.
