Apollo 60 Owensboro Catholic 55

Featured Replies

The Aces without Cam Obryan fought tooth and nail in this one. One thing that i know for sure, Neil Hayden is a great addition for Owensboro Catholic. The guy coaches his tail off and really put his kids in a position to steal one tonight. I thought Ed Carter continued to show that he is one of the more underrated players in Western Kentucky. I would keep your eye on the Aces going forward. I expect them to keep improving as the season wears on.

Apollo started this one with a lot of energy and great ball movement. I thought they looked as good as i had seen them look in the early going. They didnt come out of the lockeroom real strong and they let Catholic hang around to much. Caleb Coomes really stepped up for Apollo tonight. He will give you 110% at all times. I also thought Ben Moss responded with a pretty nice game after a somewhat slow start this season. Apollo is still putting it together but the talent is there for sure. Im curious to watch Barker continue to adjust as the season goes on. I noticed Trace Young was in the stands watching his future teammates. That is going to be a big storyline moving forward.
