At Newport. ... Kylie Orr was raining them in from everywhere on the court (I believe she had 22, including one just a few dribbles from half court), but she didn't have help. Indians came out cold and stiff, but Newport was slow getting back on defense way too many times. D. Turner and A. Mayhaus led the Indians, who again dressed only eight (injuries and sickness).

HC is very good. Their top 6 have what it takes to make a very deep run (if they get out of the 9th). Can you elaborate on depth and balance? Looks like 62 of the 68 were from 3 players in this game. After the top 6, who are the players off the bench that will contribute to a state run? I'm not familiar with them as much. To make deep runs, you must go 8 deep IMO because somewhere along the lines, something is bound not to go right.

You just looking at this game. If you look at the stats from the other games, you see the offensive balance. I agree this one game doesn't depict it but overall they have some players that can pick it up when D Turner is not having a stellar offensive game and A. Mayhaus is on the bench in foul trouble. In regards to depth, they use there jv players who contributes and provide valuable minutes. You say 6 which is they play approximately 8 people and that is without C. Mayhaus and the soph Candance (forget last name) who is expected to get significant V minutes upon return (of course once in BBall shape). They also have a couple of fearless soph. Because he plays his younger players now, they could contribute in a state run but on that stage I admit there will be some jitters.
