Fox Creek Christian overcame a very sluggish first half that found them down 24-18 at halftime, ramped up the defense in the 2nd half and came away with a win over the home team Immaculata 61-45.

Unfortunately I do not have the stats for this game. However, 8 of the 9 Knights scored in the victory, with sophomore Zack Rice leading the way undoubtedly in points and rebounds. The undersized power forward has started to blossom and use his strength and athleticism on the post against bigger players. Pint sized pg Daniel Whalen again lead the team and played excellent defense. Sophomore newcomers Tyler Harley and Derrion Perry continue to improve and make major contributions, and Jr. newcomer Tyler Green is starting to show flashes of what he can do on defense and rebounding.

Fox Creek now stands at 3-1 after losing their opening game a few weeks ago. Their next game is against Bluegrass Baptist in Lexington Dec. 20th.

Most have been that halftime "pep talk".

Haha You better believe it.:thumb:

Had never heard of Immaculata.

They moved into the old St. Barnabas campus on Hikes Lane in Louisville.

That's now the second independent Catholic school founded on giving a classical education in Louisville (Holy Angels). Interesting to see these pop up as parish schools are struggling across the city.

Good luck to them going forward.

Congrats to Fox Creek on the win.

Their coach told me they are doing similar educationally to what Highlands Latin does in Louisville. You may know more about what that is than me.
