Trinity High School to honor 2014 football state champions Thursday, Dec. 11

 

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Trinity High School will honor its 2014 Kentucky High School Athletic Association Class 6-A state championship football team at an assembly in the school’s Steinhauser Gymnasium at 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11.

 

Trinity’s student body, faculty, staff and administration, as well as the football team coaching staff and several local dignitaries will be in attendance.

 

Trinity (10-5) defeated Dixie Heights (13-2) by a score of 47-14 on Dec. 6 at Houchens Industries/L.T. Smith Stadium at Western Kentucky University to claim the KHSAA Class 6-A state championship. The win gave Trinity its 11th state title in 15 years and 23rd overall.

 

Founded in 1953, Trinity is an all-male Catholic high school with 1,240 students and more than 14,700 alumni.
