Gentleman, thank you for another great run for the NewCath football program. Although you came up short of winning a State Title, know that all Thoroughbred fans are proud of the season you turned in. Many of you were part of 3 consecutive state final teams, and not many high school football players will EVER get to say that, so hold your heads up high knowing you did your best.

 

It was a pleasure covering you guys this season and best of luck to all of you in the future.

I know several of these kids personally and I will agree with Lawnboy. Nothing to be ashamed of for making it to three straight title games. These games will be something that you can look back on and talk about at class reunions. Be proud of the fact that you gave it all you had and left no doubts. Congrats to all and cherish the memories.

Special thanks to Lawnboy13 for the updates this year. I am also very proud of this group of seniors. I have known most of these guys and coached alot of them since they were little. Great group of kids who accomplished a ton. The tradition continued this season and will continue in the future. Special thank you to Coach Wagner and his staff. Fantastic job once again! It's a pretty special feeling knowing your son is being coached and mentored by a special group of coaches. As my son Brandon told me, "I would run through a burning building for my football coaches and I feel they would do the same for me". That's pretty awesome!!!
