Biggest Cinderella teams to win State Titles?

IDK, you are likely correct as my memory begins to fade a little with age. I do know Corbin had a 500 or maybe slightly less record and won out. I think it was 82 now that you shake my memory. Beat a Scotties team that year that upset Mayfield

Corbin was 5-4 heading into the playoffs. They beat Boyle 28-13, then plowed through P'burg by 28 and demolished the 12-2 Glasgow team you speak of. It was a case of catching fire at the right time for the Hounds.

For my money Somerset was the best team in AA that season. They beat Corbin by at lease 2 TD's and their only loss was a 1 point loss when they went for 2 with seconds left against Boyle and didn't make it.

It was more about the competition, imo, but Tilghman entering the playoffs at 4-6 in 2009 is worthy of consideration.

Yep, 3A was watered down. I remember watching that game and it was an awful first half. Something like 8 turnovers between the two teams.

IMO, PT and Somerset were the bottom 2 teams in BG that year. Mayfield beat PT 21-9 and LexChristian (one of if not the best 1A passing QB's i'd ever watched) pasted the Cards. Ft. Campbell beat PT 53-7.
