Wesley Christian 83 Fox Creek Christian 44 (JV)

I think this was the final score. One of those scores you would kind of like to forget. Fox Creek ran into a better prepared and more talented Wesley Christian Saturday night in Allen, KY, and from the outset had little answer for the home Circuit Riders. The Knights from Anderson County were able to hang around a little for about the first 10 minutes, but by halftime Wesley Christian had taken control and built a substantial and for all intents and purposes an insurmountable lead. Fox Creek was hindered a little with having just 6 players, with two of those just joining the team. And it showed.

The positive thing about this game, however was that the kids for Fox Creek never quit playing and though tired continued to bust their humps till the final horn. They also missed several shots that many times will find their way through the net in most games, so the outcome could have been a little bit better, and hopefully after a few more games and some of the new kids picking up on our system things will look a little better. Wesley also has some nice players and will be a handful for many teams in the KCAA.

Fox Creek was lead by pg Daniel Whalen again with I believe 11 points (no stats available) who continues to play well and show leadership on the floor.

Circuit Riders. That is a different team name. Any meaning behind it?

I think, and WCSCoach might correct me on this, but it has to do with the traveling preachers back in the day that had a circuit they would travel and preach at small churches, events, etc.
