How many rushing yards for JC?

  • Author

Don't know, but a boat load. A lot from the fullback.

Time for Belfry to get healthy and gear up for playoffs. The Walking Dead fought for 3 quarters but JC did a great job exploiting Belfry where they were hurting the most.

Belfry lost another big time player to injury tonight in QB/S Noah Corbett. All reports were it was an ankle injury but not a specifically bad one. The first play without Corbett at Safety (where Belfry was already missing 4 other safeties) JC went right at them on a simple play any Safety should make and it went for 70 yards.

X Willis dressed out and had a couple runs. Trailing 21-0 in the 4th with no offense Haywood essentially tucked it in the avoid further injury.

The good news for Belfry now is they should be healthy by Round 2 which means getting 5 defensive starters and 4 on offense back.

I believe we are all well aware of the injury situation for the Pirates. No one is doubting their health and it was made apparent all week by some BHS followers. However, by still talking about it and giving numbers, it appears as if you are trying to discredit what exactly happened. With their "hogs" still intact on the front line offensively, there was nothing Belfry could get going. The difference was the battle of the line and you all got whipped all night long. I believe through the 3rd quarter the total offense for the Pirates was 53yds. I didn't hear a final stat total, but they had a could of runs when JC subbed in the 4th. I saw it, you saw it, and the whole WYMT area saw it on tv. I'm glad that you guys will be healthy come playoff time, and I hope you bring another title back to the Mts. Sometimes you have to give credit where it's due though.
