Big rivalry game in Flemingsburg this week. Mason County bounced back from its loss to Russell by blanking West Carter 36-0....the same Comets team that Fleming beat by 1 in OT the week before. But the Panthers also played Russell to within a touchdown.

I look for a close contest here, with the Royals winning by 3.

What do you think?

Should be a great game. Here are their results vs common opponents:

Harrison County: Fleming won 40-6 Mason won 49-7

Rowan County: Fleming won 26-7 Mason won 26-6

Lewis County: Fleming won 45-6 Mason won 19-14

Russell: Fleming lost 28-21 Mason lost 38-7

West Carter: Fleming won 22-21 Mason won 36-0

East Carter: Fleming won 40-0 Mason won 50-0

Mason County wins this one 22-20. The Royals have the coaching advantage in my opinion and that will be the difference.
