NDA routinely dominates NKy teams. I think 2017vbfan is referring to be competitive state wide and across the river. Winning the district, conference and Regional is standard and expected at NDA.

 

NDA finished 2nd in 2012 at the Asics Challenge so this team is holding their own when compared to teams of the past.

 

You are correct @ WXYZ - at making the comparrison to what my intent was. No doubt they are holding their own. But the expectations with younger/less seasoned players than before - they are building....only 2 seniors on the roster - so yes, they struggle in comparison to past teams that held more experience.

ND struggles how? I only go by what I see on the web and scoreboards. Looks like this year's team finished tied for highest finish ever by an ND team in the Chicago tourney. Looks like this year's team is beating all the teams ND usually beats in the area. Are you saying they struggle against Mercy, the #1 team in the country? Last year's higher ranked ND team went 0-2 against a lower ranked Mercy team. This year's team is on pace with every other ND team from the past 20 years. If this is struggling, there's a lot of teams and coaches that would take it.
