hoops5 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Seems like Boone County keeps moving up. Good to hear that they overcame a rough start and the team is coming together.

Oldtimebaseball84 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 I agree with Maher more on this one.....Scott did beat Cooper 2-0. Coaches have Scott at #5 and Cooper at #3.
Yellow Card Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 I think OTB84 makes a good point, as the season goes on, the Maher Rankings seem to be a little more accurate than the Coaches poll. I think there are a few reasons for this... - Not many voters for the coaches poll (6) this week. - Coaches poll is susceptible to favoritism, or dislike, of a particular school. - Maher is based strictly on results.
flops&hacks Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 I do not take to much from a coaches poll, like what was said earlier, coaches won't vote for a team they don't like, bla blah blah Maher is getting better as season comes to an end, strenght of schedule is pretty cool to see. Highlands has the toughest schedule in Nky one of the tops in the state 7, then Cov Cath then Ncc. I think these teamswill all be contenders for the regional title

Yellow Card Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 Toughest schedule according to Maher rankings you mean. I don't believe they count games against out of state opponents. Your correct... nor do they include wins, losses or ties... this could help some, hurt others.
flops&hacks Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Who has a tougher schedule than those teams? Just a question, don't get offended
