The Mustangs took their first step in their quest to defend their 2013 "A" State Championship by defeating Murray 4-0 in the quarterfinals round.

 

Jon Henn delivered two assists in the first half and scored a goal as the Mustangs took a 3-0 lead to intermission and then tacked one on for good measure in the second half.

 

Goals were scored by Nick Dierig, Sam Parnell, Henn, and Justin Rolf (unassisted).

 

The Mustangs will face a stiff challenge in Lexington Christian in the semi-finals game at 8pm on Saturday night.
