Big win for the pioneers, Holy Cross has more wins this year than years past. I expected this to be closer, is HC injured?

How were the goals scored against such a strong defense?

Lol, oh the error of my ways, In my old age my memory fades...

I have heard from a few people (ie.. parents) how good this team is. I saw the schedule, they have won a few games against st pats and villa but haven't been playing top tier teams

Last nights game was tied at 1-1 with 7 minutes remaining. It was evenly contested by both teams. The boys at HC are playing hard and will continue to so. The coaching staff is and will keep coaching the boys to the best of their abilities. As a person who has been to every HC boys game this year, I can't go without giving my two cents worth about the grill masters. I can say with absolute certainty that the grill masters were not talking about HC players. They were commenting about the rough play of Cooper that night.

NC2HC, sorry we have a different of opinion on this one... I was sitting less than 10 feet from the grill... maybe the smoke was getting to me. I do not believe that the ladies that were discussing the play would refer to the Cooper players as "our boys".

Like flops said, the game was evenly matched with both teams playing hard. The first SK goal came on a bad clear and a shot back into the box by an SK player which the goalie had no shot on because he could not see through the crowd of players. HC scored next on a free kick that bounced around and ended up on the foot of an HC player 10 yards out. Then, with about 7 minutes left, there was a breakdown on defense and an SK player dribbled through everyone. He hit a low shot that bounced over the diving goalie's arms, but the goalie should've had it. Last one came with 10 seconds left on a free kick that the goalie tried to tip over the crossbar, but didn't hit it hard enough and it went backpost for an easy tap in by an SK player.

So how were they scored? Breakdown on defense for the first, breakdown on defense and a goalie mistake for the second, and a goalie mistake for the third.

Holy Cross can only win so many games playing like thugs and hacks that they are.

I don't think Holy Cross players are thugs

I don't think they are hacks either

I just think they play aggressively and with out much knowledge of the game, so it's kind of a mix between heart and ignorance. I do think that they are a better team than last year and still are young, hope they can continue to improve

I find it pretty ironic that you would post something like this on the forum after your attempts to chastise us for others similar posts.
