I'll say it may be a tough year for the Breds. Losing Kiernan and Lewis was the first hit. But then the transfer of Mayes really leaves the Breds without any size or inside presence. It really stinks for Ware and others in that class that at one time had a pretty good outlook for being a basketball class. One of the tough things that happens at NCC that is good, but also a challenge, is that several of the girls play 3 sports, not giving them time to prepare ahead of time for the next sport. They go from one to the other without any rest or transition period. They have a lot of athletes, but some of the focus over the years changes to different sports.
