I thought I saw it on here before, but can't find it. Does anyone have a link, or explanation of when spring practice can begin?

After both BB Teams have been eliminated from the postseason. You have three weeks to get 10 practices in between now and the end of your school year.

Your window starts the following Monday after your last Basketball team is eliminated from postseason play. From that point you have 15 days to get in 10 practices. So if your team makes it to the sweet 16 then you get to start the week after, unless it is spring break, then it will begin after that.

Some teams have not started practice until late April. This has been done by numerous teams. They are under impression that they can start anytime after both teams are eliminated.

They better read up on the rules. You can start on the Monday following your last basketball game (boys or girls) and you have 15 calendar school days beginning on that Mon to get 10 practice days. You are allowed to practice 2 hours each day. No weekends. You can't require baseball and track to participate in practice. You must follow all eligibility rules such as grades(passing 75% of classes each week) You can't scrimmage other teams.

This is true bucki...Spring Practice is a great tool when used correctly, and it would be sad to have it taken away because of a few schools that don't wish to comply.
