So if you want to beat NDA, just shut down Hentz? Is that even possible?

everybody's human. Even Hentz. A team can easily keep their blockers primarily focused on a single player and always have a double block in front of them, which will force them to tip or hit the ball out. Even the bests of us get frustrated.

Congrats to Assumption on the win. I saw some of the matches. I don't know much about volleyball, but they were exciting games. Looked like some really nice talent on both teams. Packed gym with lots students supporting the teams.

According to NDA stats, looks like sets were spread around.

 

These pandas are young and it was a loud, aggressive crowd. I was impressed with the composure of the freshman setter, Hentz, Thelen, Colvin and Salkowski. The other hitters had great opportunity to score but didn't get it done. Good news is the chances were created by the set selection.

 

Let us not forget that MND beat NDA at home last season. From that team they lost one offensive contributor. The core offensive weapons, Libero and setter are all veterans and very good.

 

Young pandas showed some heart. I was encouraged.
