Ryle vs Paul Lawrence Dunbar 8/19/2014

Ryle plays host to Lexington Dunbar tonight....Predictions?

I will be going for sure. I predict Dunbar wins in 4. Dunbar is extremely well rounded and always seems to have at least one big offensive threat in the front row. When both Olivia Canales and Leah Edmond are in the front row, WATCH OUT.

I say Ryle, of course. Certainly an early season Top 10 matchup.

Ryle in 4. Dunbar came out on fire first set but saw their lead slipping towards the end of that set. Second set was back and forth, Ryle gained momentum from a controversial overturned call which have Ryle very late lead to take 2nd set. Dunbar collapsed and never looked the same. Ryle cruised through sets 3 and 4 to win the match.

*gave* Ryle momentum

Very well played match. I thought Dunbar would win this one, especially after finding out A Bush was not going to play. Ryle hung tough after a slow start. This will be a huge confidence builder for them.

Why did Ashley Bush not play? She is one of the top players in the region?

Hurt. Out for 4-6 weeks.

If chase barber has another head injury, she could be out too.
