Heard this morning at work that a few people in a county below Madison has sent info and pictures to the KHSAA about illegal activities at Trooper Island. Just what I heard.

If it's the ones circulating on the internet then they ain't too blurry, shows coaches and players. Sad thing is someone probably took the Picts not knowing it was illegal or could get the team banned.

Hypothetically, what if a player from GRC gets seriously hurt in 10 days during the scrimmage? What form of liability, such as gross negligence, could Madison Southern and the KHSAA incur? GRC just began hitting this week per the instructions from the KHSAA.

 

Would the KHSAA want to act in advance of this scrimmage to shield this possible liability away from them?

I have no clue on that. Has a thing like this ever occurred.

Some on here think it's fine and as long as you can afford to cheat it is fine.

There are many types of different types of Negligence and a good lawyer could make it a parents fault just as much. If Madison Southern had their players/parents sign wavers, the school and the KHSAA would be at no fault, we don't know if they did or not, so really all this is a bunch of speculation. To me it sounds like GRC for Life is scared of Madison Southern, since for the past few weeks he's been harping on how inept of a job the new coach has done preparing GRC.
