That tournament has lost too much luster from it over the years to take anything away from it. Schools that are less than 50 miles away refuse to participate in the tournament is what I take away from it.

 

East Jessamine, West Jessamine, Henry Clay, LCA, Dunbar, Lafayette, Scott County, Madison Central, Bryan Station, Grant County, and Woodford County had teams there- either JV only, varsity only, or both.

That means Anderson County, Sayre, Mercer County, Boyle County, Lincoln County, Garrard County, Montgomery County, Clark County, Burgin, Danville didn't come. Frankfort go? Franklin County? Western Hills? Paris? Bourbon County?

Southwestern and Somerset were there last weekend. Franklin Co. was supposed to be there, but they didn't show up for some reason.

It used to be THE tournament of the summer season. I loved it!!!!
