Final from Buckhorn in 9 innings

What a dandy.

Tanner Crowe scores the winning run on a passed ball in the 9th

Knott County Central: 000-011-000 -- 2 ®, 3 (H), 0 (ER)

Estill County: 000-110-001 -- 3 ®, 12 (H), 1 (ER)

a pitching duel is what this game was. Jacob Tuttle started for Estill County, throwing a complete game, striking out 18 batters, walking 5 and allowing 2 runs.

Chance Cornett started for Knott County Central, also pitching a complete game, striking out 12, walking just 1.

Estill County left 7 on base. Knott Central left 4 (from what I have, could have left more).

Portwood was thrown out at home in the 1st inning after trying to score on a passed ball.

Estill County freshmen and little brother to Blake Crowe, Tanner Crowe scored the winning run for Estill County in the bottom of the 9th on a passed ball.

KCC had like 4-5 passed balls.

Congratulations to the Engineers for making it to the championship game.

AllState, how are the pitching match ups for the title game? Have both teams already used their top pitchers to get to advance this far?

I would say Estill will throw probably both Zach Withers and Wade French tonight.
