Last night in the Ballard Invitational

7th grader Carson Murray picked up her first varsity win giving up just 3 hits and 1 earned run in 5 innings. She also led the Lady Titans at the plate going 3-4 with a double and 5 RBIs.

Not happy at all!! We jumped out to a 3 to 0 lead and then the wheels fell of the bus and we were too far from home to take it to a shop :isurrender: Ballard, Boyle Co., Louisville Christian, and Collins were too much for our young team this early in the season. It was a good experience for the girls to see some talented ball players. The pitching on Collins and Boyle was not great, most of the girls just couldn't hit :idunno: We will be competitive thruout the season.

She definitely has to potential to be really good and is already doing a lot for her team as a 7th grader. So far through 11 games she is hitting .433 with 2 doubles, 2 triples, and 13 RBIs. She is also 2-1 with a 2.67 ERA in 18.1 innings pitched. (Stats are from MaxPreps)
