Possession has to be established on an inbounds pass before it can be over and back. If there is a loose ball during play, it is the last team to touch it that determines whether it is over and back. Missed the call.

 

I thought so. I remember telling my son that "Long can go get it" since he didn't catch it or establish possession in the frontcourt and then the official blew the whistle. My son then looks at me and rolls his eyes because once again I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about. Daggone ref.....:no:

Everyone wants to talk about the fifth foul. I agree it was not a very good call. However, Green's fourth foul was far worse than his fifth. By rule, he was in legal guarding position even though he was moving back.

 

 

I thought the 4th foul was questionable also. I'd have gone no call on that one as well but to Gilbert's credit he attacked the basket and Green with the intent to score and draw a foul and he got the foul called.
