April 24, 201412 yr Bamboo is a great choice. We have strand bamboo that I installed - very tough product to scratch etc. If this is a DIY project (as I think you mentioned), bamboo may be more difficult to install. Because it is such a "dense" product, I actually had to pre-drill the bamboo before nailing it to the floor. If I didn't - the nails would bend and never make it through the bamboo. It was also tougher to cut. Just thought this was worth mentioning.
