Bardstown 81 Bullitt East 78 2OT

Featured Replies

Outstanding game. Chargers led by as many as 10 in the 3rdQ, but the Tigers rallied and led by as many as 5 in the 4th before BEast rallied to send it to OT.

Teams traded buckets in the first and second OTs, but B'town was able to get a steal in the final 20 seconds of the second OT as BEast was holding for a final shot with it tied 78-78. Quindon Litsey hit 1-of-2 with 12 seconds left, then the Tigers forced a turnover and Tavon Johnson hit a pair of FTs with 2.7 left to ice it. Bailey Raikes' three try to send it into a third OT rimmed off, but he got a real good look.

Lots of offensive stars in this one

Bardstown

Seivon Schooling - 20

LJ Cowherd - 14

Keanu Young 12

Litsey - 11

Bullitt East

Tyler Sharpe, Tyler Bacon - 18 apiece

Brandon Klefot - 16

Rhett Troutman - 12

From what little I got to see of Bardstown at LexCath, I was really impressed with Schooling.

Sounds like a great game!

Worst home cooking I've ever seen!!! Which is a shame because they have some good kids.

Riverdog44, u are exactly right. I was at this one, the calls at this game were one sided to say the least. In the final seconds of the 1st overtime, I was standing behind the BE basket, in a tie game with about 7 seconds remaining Tyler Sharpe for BE steals the ball, going in for the game winning layup the Bardstown player not only bangs into his shoulder, but hatchets down across the kids elbows - forearms, a blatant foul to say the least, the ref is in perfect position for the call, and proceeded to swallow the whistle, with 2 seconds on the clock, then gives Bardstown the ball. This was in no way a judgement foul. Sharpe would have only had to hit one of two free throws to win the game!
