Thoughts about the 7th region?

It seems to me to be shaping up to be a 2-horse race-----Ballard, the favorite at 3-5 and Trinity, the second choice at 9-2.

St X and Male should contend as well. X has won the 7th region three straight years, and they may have the most potent offense in the state. If their two best pitchers mend from injury, they will be very tough to beat. Male also has a solid lineup, a deep pitching staff, and good team speed. CAL will play a great spoiler for any of the favorites in Round 1 with Thompson on the mound.

Excuse me. I thought this was in the basketball thread.

I also believe it will become down to St X and Male..... Both programs are rich in tradition, well coached, and are extremely talented. I give the nod to Male because of the overall team speed, pitching , bunting/fundamentals.

Region Picks : 1) Male 2) St X 3) Eastern ( Surprise of region ) 4) CAL 5) Trinity 6) Ballard
