The Bulldogs are on a roll. Is beechwood and holy cross there only loss to 9th region teams?

Sorry they lost to Boone and Cooper the first games of the season.

Other loses were to Glasgow and Webster County.

Could of easily won the Boone and Cooper games and should of beat Holy Cross! When they run they are scary!

Since they could have easily beat Boone & Cooper, is there a particular reason they held back those nights?

They did not hold back anything they just missed 15-20 free throws in all the games that they loss except for the Glasgow and Beechwood games were those two teams flat out beat them.

Guess our definition of easily winning is a bit different. Had Holmes hit those free throws, what's to say Boone or Cooper weren't on the money with 3's the same night? Coulda, woulda, shoulda...but to say could have easily won is bit presumptive, especially when there's a loss recorded because of those teams.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking Holmes girls. Congrats on their season so far & good luck on the remainder of the season.

I just gave a reason why RG21 may have felt the way they feel I dont need no woulda, shoulda explainations because they are losses in my book as well but since you responded Boone and Cooper are not the question at hand because neither hit alot of 3's the same night against Holmes. The fact of matter is that Holmes missed the free throws.

Congratulations to Lady Bulldogs for the win over Ryle. Holmes came out with great speed and Hot shooting in the first quarter to open a 13 to 0 spread.... Ryle picked up multiple fouls quickly which led to several starters watching from the bench all of the 2nd quarter while Holmes built a 20 point lead. Lady raiders lost by 19 but you can't play even in the 2nd half to get a comeback. This was the Lady Raiders poorest shooting/rebounding game of the year. Credit to Holmes for hitting first half shooting and speed to get to the basket. Then is was hold the ball and force Raiders to foul. Would be a great rematch in regionals but both teams have a fight to get there.

My point is that this isn't the same team that played Boone or Cooper the FIRST two games of the season! They are maturing with the occasional hiccups here and there. And they still continue to struggle at the free throw line at times!
