CoachJ
It looks like of the full-scholarship schools, WKU by-far signed the most Ky HS football players (10). Anybody have an idea of how many offers EKU & Murray made to Ky kids?

Murray is getting better, but they pull from St. Louis and southern IL. Murray has been very visable as of late...haven't seen EKU in a blue moon! Ram
I noticed that WKU was hitting the Kentucky players hard, and one reason quickly came to mind. Bobby Petrino. I know he has since left WKU, but when he was at Louisville, he recruited Kentucky hard, then when he took over at WKU, he did the same thing. He won at Louisville with a lot of Kentucky kids, I think he planned to do the same at WKU. Quite a few years ago, I counted the number of Kentucky natives on each of the college rosters for all in-state schools. Petrino was at Louisville. Guess what school had the most Kentucky natives? Yep, it was Louisville.
