After watching several Boone games , I would have to agree one of the coaches sometimes goes overboard on his behavior, which I feel shouldn't be used at any level of sports. The coach seems to have a real high basketball IQ, but just needs to try and control his emotions. This is more at the JV level and not at the varsity level but that team plays hard and knows how to win.

On Boone's recent slide, I don't know what goes on in their practice, but what I seen in the games is maybe their issues is with level of competitiveness , not coaching. The last several games they have been getting beat on rebounds, loose balls, etc. IMO, You will start seeing more playing time at the varsity level for several of the JV players. It seems they have more fire in their attitude which I feel is missing at the varsity level.
