Bishop Brossart 66 Pendleton County 25

Final from Falmouth. I'll let mustang out stats on...his are more detailed than mine. Brossart isn't ranked in any poll, but they have to be close. Very tough defensive team. Their in the conversation with Mason and Montgomery for tops in the 10th.

With the exception of Trentman struggling tonight with his close-ins, I thought we were really good tonight. So did Coach Code in his post-game comments. Our defense kept the Cats out on the perimeter all night and we moved the ball well and were effective on offense. We also had the added benefit of knocking down a bunch of 3s early on as well.

Mustangs go out to a 14-2 first quarter and never looked back. Up 40-7 at the half, and 56-18 after three in the running clock. JVs finished things out in the final stanza. Mustangs win 66-25 and go 14-1 on the season.

BB: Jennings 6, Rieger 11, Geiman 3, Shannon 9, Zai 2, Trentman 16, Kramer 6, Burns 12, and Ridder 1

PC: Woods 2, Jones 1, T.Pugh 5, Wilson 2, Antrobus 2, Turner 2, Browning 5, and C. Pugh 6

How about my boy - Sophomore Jake Zai, who I simply call Zai-Guy on the broadcast going off for 27 points in the JV game???

Didn't score his first point until 2:38 left in the half. Hit on 18-25 from the FT line.

Brossart JVs win 48-30 in a game that was much closer than that, and Freshmen Mustangs win also, but I failed to note the score, about 12 points.

Zai was the difference in the JV game. He kept driving and PC kept fouling. As Mustang said, it was much closer than 18 points.

WOW, nice win. Congrats
