I hope you're wrong!!! If they both play their best, I see it as a 10-15 point game...because of Kiernan. BUT if HHS gets a few breaks, we may see a better game than most expect.

NCC will have to make some shots from the outside in this one. I don't see any of the Bird defenders leaving the paint in this game.

NCC is just better. Better players. Better team. Inside, outside, anyway HHS wants to play it, NCC will have an answer. NCC will dictate how the game is played, not HHS.

If you don't consider Mayes a big then we watch different games. She gets 15-22 a night and 5-8 boards which with Kiernan around isn't shabby. And it's not being done breaking down guards on the perimeter. She does her work in and around the paint. Is she 6 ft no, but she is a 4 on the floor which in my book is a big position. As for having a better starting 5 who do you disagree with? Only one you could possibly make a case for would be Adler and that's pretty iffy. Who would you pull for NCC to put her in? I will make this disclaimer if highlands shoots 75% from 3 they will keep it close as would anyone. Seems everyone sees a 15-25 pt spread like I do. Maybe name the score was a strong phrase but it on paper will not really be close.

I won't put names on here, but if you think if the two teams were merged that none of the HHS players would start on that team, you are crazy! Two HHS players would start.

As for bigs, thought you were talking about HHS struggling with their length on defense. You said they didn't score a field goal against HC's bigs. I dont consider Mayes a big in that context. And you're right, she does score inside, but the mistake people make with HHS is that they don't realize they start 6ft, 5'10", 5'8 5'7" and 5'5". And they all all long. Skinny and no meat, but long.

Not saying they will win by any means, but they are much better than people are giving them credit for on here and they start 3 sophomores and 2 juniors.

24-22 at half. NCC.

31-31 after 3 qtrs.

Final from the hill. HHS 45 NCC 40. NCC hits a 3 at the buzzer.

I'll be back later!
