Final in the Championship of the LMIT...surprised nobody has posted the score yet?

 

Cooper was led by Holland with 15 and McNeil with 12....both were named all tourney team along with Colin Hathorn.

 

Bullitt East was led by soph Tyler Sharpe and #2 with 16 apiece, as well as Ezra Troutman who was also in double figures.

 

Cooper got a turnover with 7 seconds left on the inbounds, down 57-55 but McNeil tried to drive baseline and got called for an offensive foul. BE sinks 2 ft's, Cooper throws the ball full length of the court out of bounds. Ball game.

My first time to see Cooper this year. The first half it seemed to me like Cooper was up 15 or so but it would only be 6-8. Bullit East just kept hitting a timely three to keep them in the game. Hathorn had a great block on a run out and smashed the ball against the board. I would have liked to have seen the younger McNeil play as I've heard a lot about him. Hope his injury heals soon. Good game to watch, except for the outcome.

It was a good game to watch. Cooper started off well and had the lead at the half. Bullitt East had too much size. Also they hit a three as mentioned when it seemed Cooper was ready to stretch the lead at several times. Phillip Hawkins had a very good game. He scored 12 points.

I've seen Bullitt East twice now this year. They have size, but still like to push the tempo. Going to be interesting to see some of the matchups in the 6th region tourney.

I like their team. #1 and #2 can both stroke it from outside. They are a very physically strong team and play solid defense. Several possessions last night Cooper had to use 30+ seconds before getting a decent look at the rim. They also press and try to speed you up. Troutman is a nice compliment to Bacon in the front court.

Him or Spencer Holland...I also like Pangallo's shot. Kid's mid range game is automatic.
