Final from Walton. An oustanding performance was turned in by Senior Brook Maines this afternoon who led the Lady Cougars with 17 points. Madi Myers had a solid effort today as well with 13 points 10 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Keira Dages also turned in a very nice performance with 12 points, 10 of those coming in the 1st half. With the win Conner raises their record to 4 wins against 2 loses.

Nice bounceback after the poor outing against Cooper.

WOW!! That is a bounce back!! Looks like Conner learned a valuable lesson from that Cooper loss!! I still think Stamm has a lot of talent he can use to mess with opponents. Teams can't just focus on their 5 starters & be safe!! I really like what I see from Dages, Frye & Boelter!! Hicks & Vest will give teams trouble, too!! If Conner can make key points at the foul line, I still like their odds for making it out of Districts & on to Region this year!!!

Congrats to Conner and unfortunately it looks like a long season ahead for Walton
