Final from the Murphy Classic at Mason County.

Lakers will play Harrison County in tomorrow night's second semi-final.

Nice bounce back by the Lakers.

I stayed for the first half. Lakers have a nice big man with good moves in the post. The freshman guard (#23) can ball. Stroked it from distance, also a pretty good handle getting to the basket. Impressive; he had to have 15 or so at the break.

While Burns is out, Panthers need Steward and Crisp to be hitting on all cylinders to be effective.

Game story below. Frosh guard Stotts had 25 for Russell County; Steward led Fleming County with 28.
