Lady Stangs fall behind 9-0 and then outscore the Lady Eagles 58-37 the rest of the way to win 58-46.

The Lady Stangs take a game up advantage over the Lady Eagles in the 37th Dsitrict seeding race. The Crosstown Classic between Brossart and Campbell County on January 4th in the Middle School could determine the district top seed with a BRossart victory.

 

Brossart led tonight by Abby Stadtmiller with 15, Sarah Futscher put up 13, and Morgan Verst 10 as the Lady Stangs improve to 5-0 on the season.

 

Scott 8th Graders Allyson Niece is the real deal, scoring the first 9 points of the game, and finishing by leading all scorers with 18 points. Alexis Stapleton, another 8th Grader added 6, while sophomore Holly Kallemeyer scored 8. The loss was the first in five starts for the Lady Eagles.

 

The Lady Stangs will take the week off of competition for exam week, and will host Beechwood next Saturday night.

Brossart played a very good team game tonight involving all players on the court. Lady eagles will find it very hard to beat the top teams with the selfish style of play displayed tonight.Maybe Eagles can look at game film and learn how to pass the ball!
