Another free throw shooting contest. 50 fouls called. This was a 2 point game late in the 3rd quarter. Dixie battled but could not overcome foul trouble for key players throughout the game and key turnovers. Tibbs was tough inside again but foul trouble limited her opportunities as it did for most of the players on the floor.

Yep, it was 33 to 31. No one can get into a flow with the new "call it like a college game" mandate. Refs seem as frustrated as the fans in all honesty. Players started fouling out early in the 3rd quarter. Fans will not come and watch this type of non action for long. Gonna be the players, parents, refs and unfortunately me at the games!

I counted 30 fouls in the first half. Several were called in the post while trying to get defensive position. So much for the "baseline to foul line" rule. Very difficult to watch. Fans were giving the refs their two cents all night too.

I thought ND looked very tentative on offense. Too much passing and nobody wanting to take a shot or drive to the basket. Also it was very hard for both teams to get into any flow with the whistles blowing every 5 seconds as others have stated.
