Walton-Verona 2013/2014

Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from W-V? Remember, please be constructive.

After losing a ton of talent to graduation the past two years and with a very difficult schedule, things could be tough for this years lady bearcats. Good coaching, a tradition of winning, depth, and solid young players will be the bright spots as they get more game experience and figure things out throughout the season.

I agree with your assessment. Senior leadership will be key in my opinion.

Watched WV scrimmage Holmes recently. WV has a lot of young talent that are finding their way at the Varsity level after sitting behind 2 strong classes that won back to back 8th Region titles, and an All A state championship. Their strong early schedule will make them stronger as the season goes.
