6 to 0 Lloyd

Lloyd turns it over inside their own 20. Walton Verona capitalizes with touchdown and pat. 7 to 6 Bearcats. 8:02 left in the second quarter.

Lloyd gets a short field from a grea punt return and are able to punch it in a few plays later. 2 point conversion failed. 12 to 7 Lloyd. 38 seconds in the half

Halftime. Lloyd 12. Walton Verona 7.

Both defenses playing well. No long drives given by either team. All scores so far have been from short fields from turnovers, one by each team. Also, special teams really making a difference with neither offense really rolling.

My fingers are cold, getting hard to type. Time for hot chocolate. :thumb:

One more thing, Lloyd has went for two on both touchdowns and have failed. Could end up being the difference in the end. We'll see. Now for the hot chocolate.

Bearcats with a nice drive to open the second half. 14 to 12 WV.

Lloyd going three backs in the backfield and double tight. Been a while since I seen that. Bearcats now having trouble stopping the run. Lloyd getting 4 to 6 at a time. End of the third. Still 14 to 12, Bearcats.

An just like that after multiple runs, a 25 yard touchdown pass by Lloyd. Once again, the two point conversion fails. 18 to 14 Lloyd.

2:58 left to play. Lloyd still up 18 to 14. Bearcats driving currently at midfield.

bearcats with an incredible long drive. Compton punches it in with 28 seconds left. Pat good. bearcats take lead 21 to 18.

Game ends as Lloyd's qb is sacked. Walton Verona 21. Lloyd 18.

Great game!
