5-4 Dogs travel across 12th street bridge in to Newport to take on the 4-5 Wildcats.

 

First time these two have played since maybe the late 90's-early 2000's.

Newport is on a bit of a roll. I'll take 'em in a close one, 26-20.

Walter I will say this about #23 Mr. Scruggs of Holmes. Put him in the back field of any of the top four or five teams in NKy and the kid would be a super star and I do mean a super star and I am not saying he isn't one already.

 

I enjoyed watching the young man play very much and I honestly hope he is getting some College looks, as I have been told he is a good student too!

He's a special talent. Holds an offer from Austin Peay and is an honors student in the classroom. Newport will definetly have their hands full with Mr Scruggs.
