Here's the thing though...it has been JC's downfall against Highlands moreso than it has been their downfall in the playoffs. JC simply is failing to defeat the Bluebirds... but so is everyone else in 4A and it can be argued that JC and their 90% run every down offense has played the Birds consistently better than other household name programs such as Boyle' date=' LexCath, and CovCath over the past 5 or 6 years.... and definitely more than the teams Highlands typically sees in the Finals. If I am a JC fan looking at how Highlands has defeated me over the years it isn't so much my offense that scares me... it's the fact Highlands consistently hangs 40+ points on my defense and consistently has the advantage in the details that you don't see in the box score such as Special Teams, Depth, and Team Speed. Having the ability to catch up from behind by passing certainly is nice...but it is nicer if you had the defense that allowed you to play with the lead when you score 3 TD's.[/quote']

JC is really good. We aren't Highlands good but good nonetheless. Looks like yet another year of being the 2nd or 3rd best team in our class. No shame in that.
