Proud of the Cards. Not been a easy schedule. Hard working kids. Glad to see the win.

In a game that came down to the final play, senior Tanner Rose deflected a pass in the end zone with 1:10 remaining on a fourth-and-10 from the Clark 14-yard line to save the seven-point victory.

The play by Rose came moments after classmate Khamarkis Blanton hauled in a 27-yard touchdown strike from Luke Sharrock on a fourth-down pass play with 2:07 remaining, turning a 26-25 deficit into a 33-26 lead.

“We had to make a play,” Blanton said. “We're tired of losing. We had to do something.”

Tates Creek converted four-of-six fourth downs, while Clark's lone conversion was the game-clincher.

“We made the plays,” Collins said. “That's all that counts.”

Fun game to watch. Creek let this one slip away. Crazy ending. Saw some great football and effort being played by both teams.

WAY TO GO CARDS! Hated to miss this game, but glad to see you get this win against a strong T/C Team!

Was a crazy back and forth game with all types of ebbs and flows. Clark was charged up from the start and full of emotion for SR night. What a great game to watch. Teams trading scores late late in the game. Congrats to a very gritty Clark County team.

Just out of curiosity... Why was Tates Creeks Graham Gordon on the sideline for the first half of this game? Was he still being disciplined for missing that Saturday practice? Or has he been replaced as the starter for Creek the rest of the season?

I agree... Clark County was very gritty, and showed up to play football.

Don't know. But he played great when he did play. Thought he played very well. And threw 2 great passes at the end of the game that could have been game tie or winners.
