2012 season everyone of those players were badly needed & no doubt would have started for Trinity!! Hell, 2 of them a got D1 scholarships elsewhere. I also can argue that Tari,Demarus, & Morris had D1 ability. Tari transferred & never played. Demarus elect to only play basketball & Morris choose to get caught up in chasing girls!!!.Tyler Owen would have played at Safety. Again everyone of those players named would have started for Trinity in the 2012 season.

I'll go with ALL TELL on this debate......he's much closer to the situation, so to speak.

I witness this with my eyes at every game that year, I'm very familiar with that bunch. & I coached or coach against these guys through out their youth football careers.

My main point is 2012 class they all played together in 2009 & they were the best freshman class I've ever seen. If you seen them I think is hard to argue or disagree with that!!!

Think what you want. I disagree.

Now that I am on my computer!

These players will become household names in the near future. Larry Harper III, QB who can scramble, throw on the run, drop back and throw, rush for positive yardage at any time and is cool under pressure. Noah Ellison is a dependable receiver. Jovell Smith is a more flashy and also very sure handed receiver. Running backs Luke Eskins and Jovan Smith. They are both beasts and interchangeable.

The defense is a total team effort. The offensive line is large and mobile.

The quote in the stands tonight is this group has more overall talent than the class of 2012.

I understand no ego issues exist within this team. I do not have access to team or individual stats.

The future is bright indeed in St. Matthews.

Seriously? Really? Any discussion about Trinity football freshman classes starts and end with the 2013 high school class...period...end of story. Take your hands off the keyboard and step away from your computer.

How many times in the history of Trinity, city of Louisville or state of Kentucky has this much freshmen talent been on the field? I'm not talking about the opinions of mom, dad or grandma or anyone else in the stands at Trinity. Here is a view from outside the Trinity football stands from Rivals:

This 2013 class team would have beaten this 2017 class team by a wide margin, and would have easily handled the 2012 freshman team as well. Honestly the 2017 class team will be very lucky to have 1 D-1 FBS full scholarship player, same as the current 2014 class with only one (Bonnafon), even the 2012 graduating class had just one (Warburg) - right?

The bottom line is there is just a huge-huge talent gap between what the 2013 class had versus 2017 or 2012, the facts are the facts, please explain these facts to 2017 team player's mom, dad and grandma at the next game.
