I guess you missed the part where Holmes played without 6 starters?

 

Also, don't be fooled by the 4A enrollment of Holmes. They have # problems as well when it comes to football. Coach Nevels is doing a great job changing the program, but let's not act like little ole Bellevue was playing a team with 50-60+guys on the sidelines. My guess is Holmes dressed 30-40 guys a game (freshmen included).

Bellevue has 25 players including freshmen and Holmes has 56 on their roster so if they 6 out that leaves them with 52 that twice as mant as Bellevue. Don't know if you noticed Bellevue star RB Dylan Huff played very little on offense in the game because he was very ill. Kudos to him for sucking it up and giving him all he could.

Officials were peewee, hit that they called head to head contact was terrible as film shows, but they didn't call the head to head contact when Holmes player (who I will not mention his name or number) lowered his head and got a 10 yard run and hit Bellevue player at the 5 yard line, that film shows. There was penalties not called that could and did get players hurt and affected the outcome of the game.

If the game "went on and on and on" why didn't you just leave?

As far as Holmes was in complete control the entire game Bellevue had 624 yards to Holmes little over 400.

Scruggs is a great back and Coach Nevels is a good guy and is doing a good job.
