Morgan County Cougar Blake McCowan receives some good coverage in sports section of today's Herald-Leader.

Talks about Blake's 21 straight made field goals. He's shooting 68% on the year. :thumb:

I wish they had a link on this, I would like to hear about it. But that oustanding with 68%, and 21 made field goals in role. But thats what you get when you shoot high % shots.

Blake McCowan of Morgan County hit 21 consecutive shots over a three-game stretch against Lewis County, Prestonsburg, and Lewis County. His streak came to an end in the second half against Wolfe County, but he finished 13-for-14 and had 28 points against the Wolves. The 6-foot-6 senior is shooting 68 percent (123-for-181) this season and is averaging 14.6 points and nine rebounds.

That is amazing for the year. Even though he is a Center and most of his shots are in the paint its still amazing to shoot 68%. Good Job Blake.
